Rhetoric
Grades 9-12
This stage centers around the development of a child in the later teen years, typically, from grades 9 and up. By this point, students have learned skills in reading, writing, communication, and argumentation and have become efficient in foundational skills. Our high school years focus on applying the students’ knowledge to the surrounding community and understanding how to effectively communicate what they know in a skilled and polished manner. We also focus heavily on Biblical and Missional Foundations.

ASSESSMENT
Our Rhetoric-aged students graduate from progress reports into essay assessments along with traditional grades for college preparation. Essay assessments are used to truly gauge what they have learned about a subject and the skill they are developing to communicate it. Students also participate in self-assessment to learn and grow in ownership, responsibility, and self-discipline.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Although our families provide their own transcripts for college admissions, we do supply the requirements for graduation and a weighted GPA for each family to use on their own child's transcript.
